GENERAL COMMENTS:
All in all, it was a good day for the futures contracts as most of the
livestock contracts closed higher. No new cash cattle trade developed
throughout the day as packers had fulfilled the needs earlier in the week. July
corn is down 5 cents per bushel and July soybean meal is down $4.50. The Dow
Jones Industrial Average is up 298.56 points and the NASDAQ is up 78.66 points.
